Veteran Energy is a Houston based electricity provider with a specific mission of helping and supporting veterans of the United States armed forces, and cultivates customers who are also interested in supporting our veterans, hence the name Veteran Energy. They support a number of veteran-based charities, and have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for those causes. They've been in the Texas market for awhile, and have a decent reputation for an electricity provider with such a specific mission statement.

Veteran Energy seems like a pretty good electricity company in Texas. They have a specific mission statement of supporting our veterans, which can be appealing to a segment of customers. Their rates aren't the lowest, but they have a variety of different plans including flat-rate and bill credit plans, so there's something for most folks depending on their needs.

Veteran has been around, and their reputation is solid. Their reviews on Texas Electricity Ratings are both good and bad. They also after a 60 day satisfaction guarantee for unhappy customers to work with them and get a new plan or cancel if they're legitimately unhappy.

Unsurprisingly, people who support Veteran's mission love Veteran energy. Lots of people praise the company and it's contribution. Other folks who are more interested in the cheapest rates, or aps, or EV vehicle plans are less enthusiastic.
